We had AJs birthday party this past weekend. We had originally booked time at Monkey Joes for his party and I decided about 2 weeks before the party that it was NOT the place for him and his friends. Way to busy and for for kids who are much older. They were just going to get run over. We panicked a little but were able to find another party place that was very similar to where we did his first birthday party.
AJ was a little overwhelmed at the beginning of the party and was not a huge fan of the "fun activities". He really just wanted to run free and play without any structure. He slowly warmed up though and ended up having a ton of fun.
