JP and I decided to do a "Sneak Peek" ultrasound to find out what Baby #2 is. With AJ we found out that he was a boy at 16 weeks and we had ultrasounds almost every single appointment with him. This time the doctor isn't doing such regular ultrasounds so we decided that we would just do one on our own.
We have both been really anxious to find out the sex of the baby to start planning. It really felt like things were on hold until we knew. We hadn't really started talking about names or anything. We also want the extra time to get AJ prepared for a brother or a sister. He is starting to get into the stage where he is very possessive of things and people and I want to be able to remind him that he will be sharing these things soon.
So .... We went yesterday and we got to see our sweet little bundle and hear the precious heartbeat. (Which was a HUGE deal, at our last doctors appt the doctor used the Doppler on my stomach and was able to get the heartbeat for all of about 4 seconds before the baby started moving all over the place and we couldn't get a strong one back) And we could very clearly tell that ...
ITS A BOY!
We are beyond excited. We both love the idea of a house full of rambunctious boys! :) We are so happy with how close they will be and that they will hopefully be the best of friends growing up.
