I have quite a few friends on Facebook with brand new newborn babies and they are all posting pictures of their time in the hospital, the first bath, the first doctors appointment, etc. I look at these pictures and I am amazed at how much AJ has changed and how quickly he has grown up. I would swear to you that his first doctors appointment was just 2 weeks ago ... But in reality its been almost TWO YEARS! And then I realize that we are going to be going through all of those milestones all over again and that its going to be here before we know it!

Babycenter has a timeline that I love to look at it ... Seems so crazy to be heading back down this road!

August 13, 2010 (2 weeks pregnant)
Your baby's conceived

Doctors start counting pregnancy from the first day of your last period, so at conception you're considered 2 weeks along.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

August 27, 2010 (4 weeks pregnant)
Positive pregnancy test

This week or next, you should be able to see a positive result on a home pregnancy test.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

October 8, 2010 (10 weeks pregnant)
Your baby's heart beats

At your next prenatal visit, you'll be able to hear your baby's heartbeat for the first time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

November 5, 2010 (14 weeks pregnant)
Announce your pregnancy

If you decided to wait until the riskiest period was over, it's now safe to announce your pregnancy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

November 12, 2010 (15 weeks pregnant)
Your baby sees light

Your baby can see light now (through eyelids that are still fused shut) and may move if you shine a flashlight at your belly.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

November 19, 2010 (16 weeks pregnant)
Having a boy or girl?

At your mid-pregnancy ultrasound (typically in the next four weeks), you may be able to find out your baby's sex.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 3, 2010 (18 weeks pregnant)
Feel your baby kick

If you haven't already felt your baby kick, you probably will in the next four weeks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 10, 2010 (19 weeks pregnant)
Your baby hears sounds

Your baby should be able to hear your voice now, so don't hesitate to talk, sing, or read aloud.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

February 4, 2011 (27 weeks pregnant)
Your baby can breathe

Your baby's lungs are still immature but could function (with a lot of medical help) if your baby were born now.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

March 11, 2011 (32 weeks pregnant)
Your baby has fingernails and toenails

They're awfully tiny, but your baby has bona fide fingernails and toenails by now.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

April 15, 2011 (37 weeks pregnant)
Your baby is full-term

Your baby is ready for life outside the womb but will probably stay in there for a bit longer, gaining weight.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 6, 2011 (40 weeks pregnant)
Your baby's due
