The Romeo Family

This past weekend we went down to Jacksonville for Tyler's birthday party. It was a much needed time away and we beyond excited to get out of Atlanta. We drove down on Friday night thinking that once it got dark AJ would be exhausted and would pass out and sleep most of the trip ... Well that was wishful thinking. It was the WORST drive ... I dont think it could have possibly been anyworse. AJ was uncomfortable in his carseat and all he wanted to do was be held. He screamed almost the entire way down and only slept for maybe a total of 20 minutes the entire 7.5 hours ... And yes, the trip that is normally 6 hours took us 7.5. JP and I were both at our wits end by the time we got to Angela's.

Fortunately we got some good sleep that night and were ready to go for Tyler's party. We all had fun and stayed busy chasing after AJ. :)

We ended up getting a portable DVD player for the drive home and fortunately the drive home was MUCH better.
