We had a great weekend! JP was home and we were all SO thankful to have some time with him. It was just his first week of traveling but we were already dying to see him by the time he got home :)
Saturday we didnt do a whole lot, mostly just time together as a family and then went to a birthday party for Gretchen. It was the first time we took AJ to a party and he did really good. JP kept worrying because AJ was being so quiet, but he was just trying to take everything in. He was surrounded by so many people that I am sure he was a little overwhelmed. Sunday was our 1 year Wedding Anniversary, and 2 years since the day we met. JP got me 2 dozen roses and started to promise that he would get me a dozen for every year we are together but then quickly realized how much money that would be as we get farther down the road and took that promise back! :) JP and I dropped AJ off with his parents and we went back to the bowling alley were we first met. They have made a lot of changes, but we did our best to do the same thing we did that day. We bowled for a few games and then spent some time on the patio talking. It was a good day.
At the birthday party this weekend we saw Ashley and Oliver. They were pretty oblivious of each other but did hold hands for a few seconds. We also went and met Kaylin Sheffield this weekend. AJ slept through a lot of it but JP and I were excited to meet Kaylin.
