We went to the doctor last week and it went GREAT! We are officially out of the first trimester and are doing perfectly. We convinced them to do an ultrasound even though we technically shouldnt have had one this visit and we were so happy to see the baby. The baby didnt stop moving. She had a hard time actually getting a picture because as soon as she would get a good shot baby would move! We were finally able to get one and hear the heartbeat. She measured the heartbeat and it was beating at 150 bpm. That was probably the most important moment for us.
JP is convinced that by looking at the picture he can tell its a boy but its way to early for any of that. We will find out the sex at 20 weeks - if the baby lets us .
My belly is starting to grow and some clothes most clothes are getting to tight to wear. I am mostly in t-shirts and low rise jeans at this point. We will probably have to start looking for Maternity clothes soon.
