I havent posted on the blog in quite some time. And definitely with good reason. Life has been going non-stop and has been full of changes for this little family.

We have moved out of the house and I can tell you that July was by far one of the most stressful months that either JP or I have ever been through. There was so much fear and anxiety that there were days where all we could do was keep putting one foot in front of the other. Now we are settled in an apartment and just trying to get life to as much of a normal place as possible.

AJ is really coming into his own personality lately. He is so full of energy and happiness that its hard to not just laugh at everything he does. Right now he is really trying to figure out how to jump but cant seem to quite get those feet off the ground. He is fascinated with trucks and I cant take him anywhere without him pointing out every single truck that is around us. He has healed really well since his tubes and we can definitely see a difference in how much he speaks (but not so much in how well he listens :))

We also got a very big surprise a few weeks ago when we found out that we are pregnant with Baby Romeo #2. JP and I could not be more excited but in true Romeo family form this pregnancy isnt coming without its own complications and drama. We went to the doctor yesterday and according to the dates of my last period we should be about 9 weeks pregnant but when they did the ultrasound all that they could see was the pregnancy sac. And the measurement of the pregnancy sac puts us more around 6 weeks. Dr Windom is optomistic that everything is fine but that we are just a little early for an ultrasound. As a precaution he took some bloodwork to look at my progesterone levels and went ahead and put me on a daily dose of progesterone and aspirin. We had to do this same medicine dosing at the beginning of my pregnancy with AJ because his heart beat wasnt where they wanted it to be at the first ultrasound back then. This is obviously very scary and stressful for us but we have faith that it will all work out.

So for now we are just taking each day, one day at a time and rolling with the punches :)
